Uglies

I just started the book "Uglies" by Scott Westerfeld. This books first chapter really got my to keep reading and not want to put it down. I already recommend this book a lot. The whole story of the uglies and pretties is really interesting.

The book takes place in a futerstic setting with cool technologies. I can tell this book takes place in the future and is highly controlled. This setting reminds me of other stories I have read and really enjoyed. I will definetly keep reading this book.

The End

I finished my book "Looking for Alaska" last week. I really enjoyed this book. The ending was very good by throwing in one last curve ball to keep you thinking. The end had two important things going on. It always had something to keep you reading. I also really liked the characters. They seemed like real people and I could imagine them. I want to read another John Green book. This is his second book I have read. I like how he writes and his ideas for books.

I recommend this book to everyone. This would be a good book for all types of readers. If you get easily bored while reading this will keep you entertained. The ending was an unexpected turn for the story also.

Suspense

Suspense in books are really important, its what keeps the reader reading. I like books with a lot of suspense because I get really bored of a book if something exciting doesn't happen. The author of my book created a lot of suspense in my book my splitting up the book in to the "Before" and "After". You want to keep reading the book to see what happens in the "After" section.

More authors should do this to have a clear line on after the big climax of the story. More people will want to keep reading the book if they have something to look forward to, I know I did. Right now I am close to the end and far into the "After" section.

After.

I am on the second part of "Looking For Alaska" and just started the after section of the book. I really like the book so far, and do not want it to end. The after part is what I expected. My prediction was correct of what was going to happen. I will not spoil the book for you because it was so good and you should read it. I don't know what is going to happen in the after section because the big climax of the book already happened.

I really like how halfway though the book they had something big happen and showed the after of it. I like this because you really get to see what happens to the characters after the tragedy and how they react. I wish more books did this to show more of the aftermath of events. I can't wait to keep on reading and see what happens next.

About The Author: John Green

John Green is a very popular young adult writer and has wrote many books. The two books of his that I have read are "The Fault In Our Stars" and "Looking for Alaska". I plan on reading more of his books because so far I have loved them both. His first book was "Looking For Alaska" and was published in 2005. He lives in Indianapolis, Indiana and was born August 24,1977.

He first started his career with YouTube. Him and his brother had a channel called Brotherhood 2.0. It was a video blog of him and his brother communicating through YouTube and had fans that called themselves Nerdfighters. Him and his brother created Vidcon which is a big meeting for the online video community to get all the you tubers together and hang out.
